MAAR studio is a collaboration between Igor Moreno and Leo Alves that bridges their long experience working at TU Delft and Zaha Hadid Architects. The studio is a place where research and design meet to produce sustainable, contextualized and tailor-made architecture. 

MAAR studio é uma colaboração entre Igor Moreno e Leo Alves, juntando suas experiências trabalhando na TU Delft e Zaha Hadid Architects. O studio une design e pesquisa para produzir um arquitetura sustentável, contextualizada.

Leo Alves graduated in Architecture and Urbanism at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. He also holds a master in Architectural Design from the Bauhaus - Dessau Institute of Architecture in Germany. Since then, Leo works as Associate for Zaha Hadid Architects in London, for more than eleven years.

Leo Alves é formado em Arquitetura e Urbanismo pela Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro, com mestrado em Design de Arquitetura pela Bauhaus - Dessau Institute of Architecture na Alemanha. Desde então Leo trabalha para Zaha Hadid Architects, em Londres por mais de onze anos.

Igor Moreno is also an architect and urbanist alumni from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. Igor graduated as doctor from the Faculty of Architecture and the Built Environment of TU Delft in The Netherlands, where he teaches and conduct research in the chair of Urban Studies in the department of Urbanism.

Igor Moreno também é formado Arquiteto e Urbanista pela UFRJ. Igor tem o título de Doutor pela Faculty of Architecture and the Build Environment da TU Delft, na Holanda. Lá ele dá aulas e conduz pesquisas sobre Estudos Urbanos no departamento de Urbanismo.
